Di balik keindahan tepi laut Alexandria ternyata menyimpan sejarah penting peradaban Islam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Di tepi Laut Mediterania, Alexandria berdiri sebagai kota yang kaya akan sejarah dan peradaban. Didirikan oleh Aleksander Agung pada tahun 331 SM, kota ini menjadi pusat ilmu pengetahuan dan budaya dunia kuno, terutama dengan Perpustakaan Alexandria yang legendaris. Namun, perjalanan Alexandria tidak berhenti di era Yunani dan Romawi\u2014Islam pun menjadi bagian penting dari kisahnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pada tahun 641 M, pasukan Muslim yang dipimpin oleh Amr bin Ash menaklukkan Mesir dari Kekaisaran Romawi Timur (Byzantium).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexandria, sebagai ibu kota Mesir saat itu, menjadi saksi perubahan besar. Kota ini tidak hanya menjadi bagian dari dunia Islam, tetapi juga mengalami perkembangan dalam bidang ilmu, perdagangan, dan budaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Islam membawa pengaruh besar dalam kehidupan Alexandria. Masjid-masjid mulai berdiri, termasuk Masjid Attarin yang dahulu merupakan gereja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perdagangan di pelabuhan Alexandria semakin maju karena kota ini menjadi pintu gerbang antara dunia Islam dan Eropa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hingga kini, Alexandria tetap menjadi kota yang kaya dengan jejak sejarah, di mana peninggalan peradaban kuno berdampingan dengan budaya Islam yang berkembang selama berabad-abad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kota ini adalah bukti bagaimana Islam menyatu dengan peradaban besar, membawa perubahan tanpa menghapus identitas masa lalunya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
